நா முத்துக்குமார் சினிமா பாடல்கள் வழியே பரிச்சயமான ஒரு கவிஞர். அவருடைய இலக்கிய படைப்புகளின் மீது எனக்கு மிக குறைவான ஈர்ப்பே இருந்து வந்தது. நாஞ்சில் நாடன் மற்றும் பவா செல்லத்துரை ஆகிய ஆளுமைகளின் சுட்டிக்காட்டல்கள் மூலம் முத்துக்குமாரின் படைப்புகளை தேடும் முயற்சியில் இறங்கினேன். டொரோண்டோ பொது நூலகங்கள் எதுவும் அவரின் படைப்புக்களை கொண்டிருக்க வில்லை. நாகர்கோவில் செந்தரம் bookstore பெருமாள் அவர்களை தொடர்பு கொண்டு சில புத்தகங்களை வரவழைத்தேன்.  அணிலாடும் முன்றில் மிக நேர்த்தியான நேர்மையான படைப்பு. மத்தியதர குடும்பங்களில் உலா வரும் உறவுகளை காஞ்சிபுர மாவட்ட வாசனை வீச உணர்வும் உண்மையும் அங்கங்கே கவித்துவம் ததும்ப பேசும் நேர்த்தி மீண்டும் மீண்டும் வாசிக்கத் தூண்டுவதோடு நம் குடும்ப உறவுகளையும் மனிதர்களையும் நினைவுக்கு கொண்டு வந்து விடுகிறது . மீண்டும் முத்துக்குமாரின் படைப்புகளை தேடி படிக்கும் ஆர்வத்தையும், 41 வயதுக்குள் காலம் களவாடிவிட்ட ஆற்றல்மிக்க தமிழ் படைப்பாளியை இழந்துவிட்ட ஆதங்கத்தையும் அளிக்கிறது இந்த வாசிப்பனுபவம்.

  I remember vividly. It was a scorching summer afternoon in Chennai back in 2003, my friend and ex-colleague Sangeetha called me up. She just moved into TCS, a dream IT Services company for many Indian engineers, not just for the career prospects if offers but also due to its highly regarded and prestigious parent conglomerate, the Tata Group. Though TCS was a large Indian IT services firm, it was not in the limelight then as it was not a public listed company like its listed rivals like Infosys, HCL and Wipro.   Sangeetha told me that TCS is starting a new project to digitize the clinical functions and operations of a world-famous Ophthalmology Research Centre in Chennai including the patient medical records. The chosen technology platform was Microsoft .net and the solution includes the Microsoft Tablet PC interface. They are hiring Development Engineers and Lead Engineers to join the team, which sounded so lucrative to me as I was a big Microsoft admirer and have invested the initi
